Qualification of welding procedures according to EN ISO 15614-1; ISO 15614-2 & EN 4; ASME IX; 101 OSF DNV, API 1104; ISO 13847; or in accordance with customer instructions, this includes:
Basic services for The Fusion Line:
- Optimum choice for the welding processes
- Establish the number of welds needed for the qualification and recommendation for the spare number
- The bevel design and geometry
- Choosing the welding filler material
- Choosing the optimum consumables, depending on the welding process (protective gas, nozzle, non-fusible electrode, etc.)
- Choosing the optimum welding parameters
- Choosing the minimum preheat and maximum interpass temperature
- Post weld heat treatment implementation, if necessary
- Mechanical testing follow-up, cutting sheets and solving the problems that may occur during mechanical tests
- Performing the documentation related to the welding qualification testing (WPQR) and welding the books
- Depending on customer requirements the qualification of the welding procedures can be performed in their workshops/premises or, where appropriate, we can provide the customers with all the necessary utilities in a workshop located in Bucharest
Planning for defect welds for the procedure qualification of the ultrasonic non-destructive testing (AUT automat- manually – MUT) – “weld defect mapping”
Planning for defect welds for the procedure qualification of the ultrasonic non-destructive testing (AUT automat- manually – MUT) – “weld defect mapping”
- Tracking and follow-up, and where appropriate renewal, of welders certificates

Give solutions for the cases where defects are recurrent or major defects appear, such as cracks, craters, material specific defects (intergranular corrosion, pores and solid inclusions, carbides appearance or inappropriate metallographic structures)
Consulting for welding or repair of “hard to weld” materials or materials to be welded in specific conditions such as cast iron, cast steel, copper and copper alloys, nickel, aluminum, stainless steels and duplex, super duplex, nickel based alloys, cladding or cladded elements
Solving problems that might occur in production such as welding deformations, misalignments, spatters etc, interaction with other departments such as design, corrosion protection, coating, assembly etc.
Training for quality control and quality assurance departments for the welding and coating inspection.
Regular training of the welding personnel (engineers, inspectors) on applicable standards and methods, welders training
